Do not rank Cuomo.
In addition to all the wonderful policy proposals, ushering in a new generation of leadership and repudiating Andrew Cuomo, a Zoldan Mamdani win will make all of the absolute worst people you’ve ever become aware of extremely unhappy. And that’s something we can all celebrate.

Creepy PP is a social conservative in the GOP mould, and he cannot be allowed access to power.

I have many disagreements with Mr. Carney on policy (I think we need more strictly public spending and less "market solutions") but I will support him rather than Creepy PP.
This is extremely disturbing.

When I wrote my camps book, people sometimes had difficulty understanding how concentration-camp regimes were proud of what they were doing and wanted attention for it, even as they also hoped to keep many aspects secret and terrorize vulnerable classes. Anyway, this is what that looks like.

"i don't like that these people are calling themselves nazis, because I agree with the things they've been saying and refuse to do any self reflection"
The good news is that reactionary centrists are engaging in some self-reflection on the excesses of the right-wing backlash to 'wokeness.'

The bad news is that they are saying it is woke people's fault.

This. I write to understand the world and myself. The hardest articles to write are the ones where I don't know what I'm trying to say. AI can't do that for me.
No, I don't need a bloody copilot for this document, thank you.

Writing is, in no small part, a tool for thinking. If you outsource that element to a machine that cannot think, you shouldn't be surprised if, at the end of the process, neither you nor your reader are any the wiser.
