I bounced off of FFT three times until I listened to the Retronauts episode and the game finally clicked for me.
Played WOTL versions this summer and absolutely loved it. Was a little OP going into the final battle but had a blast.

I'd also recommend trying the Impossible burgers from Burger King, I know a lot of folks prefer those to Beyond.
