Just discovered a sizable speed hump on Hawley between Washington and Lloyd. No sign either. I don't understand it as Hawley is a throughway and it's between two stoplights. I know speeding and reckless driving are serious problems in the city but at least give us some warning. Paint it yellow!

on the balance i think partisan gerrymandering is bad but the only way it ends is if democrats weaponize it against republicans everywhere they can. wiping out republican lawmakers in blue states might bring the GOP to the table to end the practice.

I'm arguing on Twitter with folks who are delusional about Giannis' trade value. I love everything about him except his endorsement of Kalshi yesterday. He can do everything on the court but shoot. But his offensive game will drop off a cliff when he can no longer force his way to the rim.

There is no sport that hates its own fans more than MLB.
MLB TV will remain $150 a season but look at this BS they’re trying to pull. You cannot “buy” MLB TV without buying ESPN Unlimited, but they give you a one month free trial, and then the hope is you forget to cancel since you don’t need ESPN to have MLB TV, only to initially purchase.

We’re drifting toward an unambiguous military aggression against Iran, with the intention of overthrowing its regime, and the treatment of it in US politics is somewhere between normalization and avoidance.
