Ah! That would also give access to pixel art palettes and speed up finding appealing color combinations. The gradients you use for communicating depth are so realistic, and the surface textures are gorgeous

Working on something for #KenneyJam using MiniMicro, since Kenney's 1-bit tileset is built-in for the console.

Not sure how I'll get the rest of stuff implemented, but I have a start at least!

oh my god this is so good!! I'm so used to using CharacterBody3D for making a player but I really like how it feels using a RigidBody3D instead.

So uh, subtract maybe 5 or 6 hours from the playtime for when I had to walk away and eat dinner but I barely every fast-forwarded through anything except for basic dialogue

Loop said to me "They might be saying something different and you won't know!" and I just said "Ok, do not ⏩ ever. Got it!"

Currently learning how to edit videos and drafting out some tutorials for 3D modeling in Blender

It's a big project for me and I won't know the final result, but I won't find out until I try, right? Also, I want more 2D artists to learn 3D!

Found some settings to make it easier to position hitboxes in the 3D game I'm creating in Godot 4, and I thought this might be helpful for someone out there!

A screenshot of the Godot 4 editor showing what settings to toggle. Click on the button in the top left corner of the viewport, then click on "Display Overdraw" in the menu. Also, while working on hitboxes, you can enable "Show Rest Only" on the model's Skeleton3D node to put it into a T-pose. Turn it back off before playtesting! A demonstration of how the viewport looks between the "Display Normal" and "Display Overdraw" settings. Text transcript: "It isn't exactly perfect (I wish I could thicken/recolor collision shapes) But it is MUCH easier to see compared to the defaults. Again, don't forget to disable "Show Rest Only" on the model's skeleton; if it's still enabled, then animations won't play in-game."

I am a hexadecimal color code # C0FFEE truther until the day I die, same goes for # DECAFF

I don't even remember how I found these but I use them everywhere I can when I can use a custom color for something

Big fan of when color codes are (or at least look like) words

Most indie gamedevs seem to make a sandbag for testing out their combat systems, so I decided to make a somewhat "lore-accurate" one for my project! This was also just to figure out a good process for modeling + texturing.

Browsing The Cutting Room Floor and I'm in love with these unused hoodie designs for Spla2n. They're so cute and I have no idea why they never got implemented into the final game
