every time this study comes up (or other similar ones) i see people trying really, really hard to still find a way to say cis lesbians hate trans women specifically and that’s just not true.

which isn’t to say that a not insignificant number of bigoted cis lesbians don’t exist but come on

Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.

“Jungle of the Jade Jaguar” and the Sword system are both tasty bites, a little amuse-bouche that *could* be expanded into a much larger meal.

The design continues to be an excellent part of DNGN CLUB products.

“Jungle of the Jade Jaguar” has enough content to run and the Sword system is interesting and thematically appropriate. JJJ could definitely be expanded into a much larger adventure and the text “Magic pulses from this weapon, a cut straight into the dimension of THE GREEN – and from that cosmic wound pours an unending reservoir of life. Flora and fauna, ceaselessly evolving, spill forth in a riot of unchecked creation...” is an interesting enough premise that it could support a much lengthier module and bestiary - which i would like to see. So as it is, it’s pretty good! And the skeleton it provides could be laden with a very weird body for an even more involved module.

One great touch - especially given the incredibly concise wordcount - is recommendations on how to use these creatures as obstacles and NPC encounters rather than *just* a target for violence. It definitely helps flesh out more of the GM ideology that underlies the game.

This is the game version of a dungeon-synth cassette given to you by the guy who has a wizard painted on his van. It has an easy-to-understand ruleset that offers a little more depth than many other micro-rpgs. However, it does carry the same caveat that while it offers rules, it probably isn’t enough material for a new GM: without a decent understanding of the dungeon-delving genre, I think a GM might flounder a little. I definitely recommend it for a lightweight, quick ruleset when you need a session on the fly, or maybe for a short beer-and-pretzels kind of campaign. And it scores 100% on vibes.

•*• Funny-Presence4228 LPT: How to win as a guest and make new friends at a raging, alcohol fuelled party Food & Drink I'm getting older now, and some of my friends' kids have recently started college. I've been reliably told that alcohol-fuelled parties are still happening, and I shared this advice about how to make new friends and be a hero. One of them took my advice, and now has a new girlfriend because of this. The key to the following advice is an element of secrecy because the surprise makes it even better. Arrive late and sneak Lasagna into the party. I mean, taking a large, catering-sized tray of lasagna, along with a stack of paper plates and forks, to a raging house party. I used to do this back in college. I'd make one, sometimes two, in the afternoon in big foil trays before goin to a party. Show up around 10.30pm, and slip them into the oven without asking permission telling anyone. Medium heat for 30 minutes to warm it up. Get my paper plates out, and shout: "Lasagna is ready" to a packed house of drunk people, and hand them all a fork. It's cheaper than bringing beer, no clean-up, and I got laid pretty often. Important note: Make sure the person who owns the oven is the first in the line, and don't make a mess. Maybe make one meat and one vegan or something... This last point was less of a concern back in my day, but we must move with the times.
