@natemosersports.bsky.social and I had a conversation the other day about what qualifies a cryptid to be a cryptid rather than a creature of folklore, and tbh neither of us were sure where that line is drawn or if there even is one. Thoughts? #cryptids#folklore

Normally I hate dishes but I enjoy washing my milk frother wand because it’s basically just the same thing as making frothed milk, but with soapy water instead of milk 😂

Tell me, would you find it appropriate to tell someone who was helping you that they have a "big finger" when they pointed to something? Or would you keep that shit to yourself because that's an inside thought?

I don't know why a function to quickly edit case wouldn't be standard with word processing software, but apparently it's considered an extension in google sheets

My library is lucky enough to have a Silhouette machine, and when I use it on my desk it tilts a little bc my desk is in two parts that aren't quite level. What I'm trying to say is today I spent twenty minutes making a thing out of craft sticks to stick under the machine to stop it cutting weird

The thing that really never fails to piss me off about AI is that it's assumed I want to use it. I would much rather do shit the "analog" way but every website just thinks "well obviously they would much rather use AI, that's the default now"

The Trump admin has announced sweeping measures to expand coal production on public lands. It intends to open 13.1 million acres of public land for coal leasing, significantly loosen the royalty rates that mining companies pay, and allocate large sums toward existing coal-fired power plants.
I love when I'm looking through a digital scan of an old book and I see someone's hands in the image. Both because it's a little silly and also because it shows the human effort that goes into creating digital media sometimes
