Because Trump/Trumpism - the very essence of which is authoritarianism, nationalism, intolerance, anti-freedom, and anti-truth - is itself an attack on America.👇
The messaging from Trump, Fox News and the GOP was that if they lose, they’ll attack America again. But as many are finding out, this was actually their win or lose strategy.

Always remember that Trump is as incompetent as he is malevolent. 👉
somehow ”trump is god emperor and if he wills it it will occur” is a belief that is shared across the political spectrum

“No evidence has emerged that Gabbard has ever collaborated with Russia’s intelligence agencies.” Maybe not, but that doesn’t negate her role as a “useful idiot,” virtually a Putin stooge. She shouldn’t have a security clearance, much less head our Intell services

Visa & Mastercard control the credit card market. THEY set swipe fee rates, costing retailers & consumers billions annually. The Senate Judiciary Comm is holding a hearing today on the solution: The Credit Card Competition Act (CCCA). Call each Senator on Judiciary and tell them to support the CCCA.

Another word I'm starting to get sick of (besides "mandate") is "agenda." Trump has cravings. Trump has impulses. Trump has pathologies. And he doesn't - and can't - see beyond himself.
I have a really tough time hearing his cravings, impulses, and narcissistic pathologies reframed as an "agenda."

Isn't it ironic that the "family values" party (GOP) is the one causing families 2 fracture now? Most families have at least one Trumper, & since sane ppl r all sickened & angry about Trump & his fiends from hell, then we should have a very hard time stomaching any of them in our midst on holidays.

I love the diversity of interest on this app. In addition to not being force fed content that I'm not remotely interested in.

Goodreads is owned by Jeff Bezos. A better alternative is StoryGraph, a Black woman-owned platform. And before y’all start, you can transfer all your Goodreads data to Storygraph so you literally have no excuse.
