Trump's retribution is the opposite of JC's woke forgiveness. Same with saying humans r God's creatures, but some humans (like LGBTQ, women, POC) r less so, or that animals r put here 2 be imprisoned, tortured, killed & eaten, not loved (except pets). JC (if he lived) was a pacifist, probably gay.

😄👍Actually, atheism is cool, I think. But it all comes down 2 parenting. If parents need 2 rely on the church or school 2 instill moral fiber (no matter how skewed or bigoted), then they've abdicated their role as parents. I think most parents just wing it, clueless. And so many kids r accidents.

Right. When I was a kid, I had 2 go along. My parents weren't religious, but they were "doing it 4 the kids." And my sister & I weren't religious, but we were "doing it 4 our parents." I'm sure that's a common situation, sounds so ridiculous! The charities aside, it's about power & partisanship.

My view on religion: Forget what ur parents believed or identified with (as w/a sports team), or ur peers, or ppl of authority or influence, or what the Bible says. We r made 2 think 4 ourselves, independently, 2 reject what ppl say who sound so sure but don't know anything. Think, don't obey!

Maybe Latino folks will start waking up about Trump. I read that so many r hung up on Dems supporting abortion & LGBT, which goes against their Catholic brainwashing, that they switch 2 GOP, who's motto should be CCCC - Cruelty, Conformity & Corruption for Christ. Makes no sense at all.

First of all, they voted. They didn't drop out if the candidate wasn't 100% far left rebel, as with the 2 ladies. Hopefully ppl r getting the idea now, unity matters, as does power & winning elections. Marches & sit-ins only go so far - if the votes aren't there, 4get it - and it only gets worse.

Agree 2 disagree. But why did everyone (incl his wife) shield him from the public eye? Did they really think he'd win a 2nd term? And why'd he go back on his promise not 2 run again? I like Joe, he was good 4 most of his term (except on undocs), decent guy, but he lost it, & ego got in the way.

After Obama, no one else deserves as much credit 4 ACA as Nancy does. She made history, stayed the course, protected ACA every chance she got. And Hillary paved the way b4 her w/her health care plan, which GOP slapped down. Then Bernie slapped HRC down - oh, never mind, we know all that.

I disagree. She did what she had 2 do w/Joe, no one else had the guts 2 make him look in the mirror & try 2 stop a total Dem wipeout after his debate flop. Another interesting footnote on Nancy. When she started in politics, the SF far left spurned her - 2 rich, 2 pretty, 2 trad-family, 2 old.

Yes, as countries like Mexico, the Philippines & much of Europe surpass us. Women have been ready 2 lead since Eleanor Roosevelt, Hillary Clinton, & Kamala Harris, but our electorate is behind the rest of the civilized world, not just our right wing, but many on the far left. So sad & shameful.
