Ugh. Dumb NIMBYs. The ROW is already there, it’s not like they’re taking land from people. And also, this pic does not depict just how huge Brooklyn and Queens are. The G train is not a valid substitute.
As some NIMBY opposition to NYC’s IBX project heats up, some are claiming it just duplicates the G train. As @shabazzstuart.bsky.social notes, it’s not really the same thing, at all…

I’ll never understand this brake light location logic. Kia/Hyundai does it the same way. And dont tell me it’s because the hatch opens and lights must remain on the car.

Same Boston parking, three very different cars:
- The Defender is brilliantly setup for a task it will never do.
- E63 AMG wagon, like hell yeah!
- But damn, I’m at an age where I’m like “the MINI has all space I need, is probably as as fun to drive as the Benz, and gets superior gas mileage…”

The super unique truck and its owner are somewhat internet famous. I’ve become friends with the owner and he offered to sell it to me. Unfortunately it’s not the right vehicle for me now, but a good friend of mine is buying it and I’ll get to drive it whenever I want.
