"Night Wing" 🌙 🦉

Freshly finished new gouache painting I completed last evening. I had wanted to paint an #owl for the longest time. I chose this "Short Eared Owl" as my subject. I absolutely loved painting his feathers. #Gouache is just sooo creamy. #art

I just finished this late last night; Just in time for today!

This piece was a little bit difficult. I haven't done skin using #gouache yet, so this was a first. I'm not sure how to describe it. It's so much different than watercolors!

I love Fall mushrooming 🍄🍂🍁

Amanita muscaria var guessowii is a beautiful, yellow version of the iconic red amanita.

Apioperdon perlatum are puffballs and perfectly edible when white inside! They look like little pears.

Pholiota aurivelalla are not edible but very pretty with their bright yellow textured caps.

I love how mycelium looks like the web of our nervous system or the connections within our brain!
