Thunderborn

A little homage to the ibex, an animal born of thunder and stone, standing between light and shadow, between the storm and the return of the sun.

In the colder months, male and female ibex come together in the rut, their midwinter union a spark of life in the stillness.

I do enjoy the soundtrack of the first (also rip James Horner) but they could have made a really cool movie, the alien designs were also supposed to be more interesting but they had to be hotter for the public xD

I remember them working on the ost of the first movie and it was supposed to have sounds from all over the world or something, very interesting.. I loved the first movie when it came out, for the cgi and the music and just for being pretty, but now strangely even the cgi doesn't hold up well for me
