I wasn't too harsh, was I?
This was quite possibly the worst two hour wrestling show I’ve ever seen on my entire life. It was barely even a TV show. If it turns out it was at least 50% ads I won’t be surprised. We saw 30 seconds of the first 10 minutes of the main event. We missed most of the women’s tag title change. But we got every second of special guest Dixie Carter. This show was so bad that, if they continue to draw decently on the road, it’s proof that this big increase in attendance is entirely a house of cards fueled by comp tickets. Well, and maybe the Hardys. It’s incredibly obvious that this company is not organically popular. It’s simply part of a nightmarish feedback loop with WWE where everyone moves back and forth doing the same thing, making less money each time. It’s a mirage. Am unwatchable mirage for people with terrible taste and an unhealthy complex about AEW existing. WWE is insipid, low impact wrestling for baby brained Disney Adults with terrible taste, and this was a worse version of that. I feel like a lesser person for spending two hours of my life watching this. This should not exist. It’s simply a vehicle for WWE to pretend to not be anti-competitive while cementing TNA’s place as a wrestling promotion that exists solely to use WWE talent for free and provide a landing spot for former WWE talent who aren’t close to good enough for AEW that they can woefully underpay. Maybe it’s fitting that this was barely a TV show, because TNA is barely a wrestling promotion. It should not exist. Pro wrestling is worse off for Anthem not letting it die in 2016.

TNA's AMC era is going to be the NXT geeks, guys just waiting to go to WWE like Leon Slater, older guys who can't get jobs in WWE and AEW like Moose, and people WWE clearly like but just can't be arsed paying anymore like Mustafa, Cedric and Indi Hartwell.
