imo of all the formal political institutions in US life, the judiciary has given the best account of itself by a pretty large margin (with the obvious exception of SCOTUS) and a younger me was way more dismissive of the courts than history would prove deserved

This happened because no ICE agents were charged for murdering Renee Good. To save lives, Minn officials need to charge Numerous ICE officers for these murders NOW! If they won't, then step aside and allow other officials to hold these killers accountable!

the one case we’ve seen go to court played out like this: the govt didn’t show up, so the judge ordered the man’s release, then ICE rearrested him outside his home. so i imagine they’ll keep doing that for a while.
Entering someone’s home to arrest them, without a judicially signed warrant, is a violation of the fourth amendment. It’s illegal. It needs to be challenged in court immediately if it happens.
