Are they good pickles?? I'm on the hunt for something decent as my sister-in-law and I are both pickle mad and are locked in a Christmas pickles arms race... and I've got nothing left to give...

Young Bobby Gillespie there, showed a lot of promise in the school choir this year, though when singing All Things Bright and Beautiful matron was made slightly uncomfortable with his emotional delivery of the line about the purple headed mountain.

3/3 I ask for the details. It's an American mag for the recycling industry called 'Resource Recycling'. I ask for a credit only, as I'm not a dick. A couple of months later, 2 copies of the mag drop through my letter box in Peckham and I was so happy! This makes me a 'professional photographer' ;-)

My advent gift to you is this 19 year old photo of Christmas lights made from recycled bottles on the Southbank. And here is the very brief story about how it ended up on the cover of a magazine in the US. 1/3

Give a cat a website, it will be distracted for a day. But teach a cat to publish its own website, and it will forever be banging on about content design and search engine optimisation.

Panetonne. 15 years ago, nowhere, they didn't exist in the UK. Now everyone is flogging them, I wouldn't be surprised if Screwfix have some going. Who's behind big panetonne? #makesyouthink

Just back from watching Three Days of the Condor at the lovely Rex in Berkhamsted. Such a great film, think it's only the second Redford film I've seen on the big screen after going to see Sneakers back in 1992.

A garden beast spotted this morning. Sir, or madam, I have no pond, but my delicately tended collection of snails that eat everything I plant are indeed yours for the taking.

File under #goodtimes, my phone reminds me 7 years ago today I took Joe to meet Alex Horn from Taskmaster at a local bookshop. Joe was an early adopter of Taskmaster, and loved the show. Alex was lovely and spent a few mins discussing Joe's suggestions of who should feature in the next series.

Baked mine yesterday, was indeed a day to bring up some memories of past years as the house filled with the pong of baking. Test cake checked out fine.
