"For most, this tragedy will be a headline that soon fades. But for those in her unit, it will divide their service, and likely their lives, into 'before' and 'after.' Soldiers know that feeling. I certainly do."

Today is World AIDS Day.

“An awareness day is not a strategy” is the US government's rationale for not publicly acknowledging World AIDS Day for the first time since the inaugural WAD in 1988.

On May 5, the Los Angeles county public health department declared a Hepatitis A outbreak after an increase in cases (29 to date in 2025, 165 in 2024) and sustained virus detection in wastewater.

What is Hepatitis A and what can you do to protect yourself?

Because science doesn't mean anything in this idiocracy.

I can go through pretty much the entire south and tell you that they're broke and rely on a lot of welfare from the government. To be perfectly honest, it is tax dollars from these big blue states...we're in the find out phase"

It was an honor to sign the guest book in the home of Anne Frank.

I was here as a younger man and thought about her life as a dark chapter of history.

Today, I can’t help but think of her story as one of caution. Our world is fragile, and it’s incumbent on us not to break it.
