Brits are just mental.
My mates and I have a WhatsApp chat group where we only post our own farts. The rules are that there can only be voice notes or videos of your fart and nothing else. Nothing brightens up a dull morning more than the sound of your mate's fart.

Now this is a fess..
Would fiddle with anything as a kid. Visited my uncle who was dying from cancer and saw a community nurse update what I would later find out was a morphine driver. Started pressing all the buttons when she left the room. Uncle died that evening. Think I may have overdosed him.

The awful experience of trying to buy a thing from an irish retail website is surely a huge factor driving people to amazon. Irish retailer: we might have this, but only in Middleton, Do we deliver? Maybe in 3 months and for €200. Does it come with the accessories in the picture on our website? Nah.

“Because we are focused on activation,” Minister for Housing James Browne says.

As a case study for not letting private equity near anything, the UK water companies are perfect. Take a utility, load it with debt, pay out dividends until the company is broke, hike prices and look for govt bailout. Rinse, repeat.
"Yorkshire Water was privatised in 1989 under the Water Act, launched debt-free and promoted as the start of a new, efficient era.

What followed was anything but. Today, the company carries almost £7bn in debt. Our rivers are polluted, our bills keep rising, and we’re told to pay still more..."
