Obviously, other teams are interested in Skubal and the Tigers will field all offers including those from the Mets, who reportedly are involved in trade talks w/San Diego as well as Detroit. But you got to think that nobody can outbid LAD in a trade package in terms of prospects & MLB-ready players.

The Royals are reportedly interested in trading for Teoscar Hernandez and the Tigers are also a possibility w/him involved in the Tarik Skubal trade talks. While I like Teoscar, I'm open to trading him, but that would also mean acquiring another outfielder to replace him.

I completely understand that the Dodgers biggest superpower is simply "having all the money," but I also can't wait to see how they turn Teoscar Hernández into some low level prospect who turns out to be number 5 on their top 10 next year

It looks like the Dodgers front office and I are on the same wavelength w/regards to pursuing Kyle Tucker. A short-term, high-AAV contract is the only route we'd be interested in going w/him. Buxton & Kwan may not be available this off-season, after all, w/their respective clubs playing hardball.

The Dodgers reportedly are now jumping straight to my wish-list task of trading for Tarik Skubal. David Pingalore is the sports anchor for local KTLA but he was also the one who broke the news that Kawhi Leonard was signing with the Clippers just before the major media started reporting it.

I was conflicted with CP3's return to the Clippers after the way he left for Houston, but the disrespectful way they dismissed him from the club shows the lack of class, integrity and even intelligence of Ballmer, Lue and the front office execs responsible for this BS.

Got zero insight on what went down with CP3 in L.A., but I said this many times last season:

A young team like the Spurs *absolutely* responded to his tough-love, no-nonsense leadership style. These guys loved him.

A veteran team full of All-Stars who have been there, done that? Maybe not so much.
