I don’t think the Dems realize just how bad this look is - and those arguing that it is strategic have forgotten that there are people on the other end. If someone seriously voted for this to enable another Dem to campaign against it, they’ve lost the plot. 🤦🏻♀️

My family has been without half our income for 40 days. It has been.. very hard.
We are willing to feel that pain so people can have health care next year, or to undo these illegal recissions.

The argument that the 1% deserve tax breaks and assistance because they create/fund jobs has been destroyed by their own actions in the last few weeks. Tax the hell out of them so that we can have the social safety net we built in the 1970s.

I have lost all respect for KBJ tonight. People are hungry. US Military are going to food banks while SCOTUS fines in fancy restaurants and figures out how they can get more $$ We need to reform the Court and get some people on there who give two &hits about human beings.

If Cabinet members/WH advisors have moved onto military bases - who authorized it, how much rent are they paying and given that military housing is not abundant, who have they displaced? Last I checked the US taxpayers don’t provide free housing and a salary except in very specific situations

We are discovering why business execs are NOT great leaders in government. They are taught to take instruction from the boss only and to pull out all the stops to win a negotiation (see the ICE brutality, the starvation tactic, the cancel Thanksgiving tactics). It’s a failure to govern.

It’s not just Trump that’s trashed the US economy. Take a good hard look at the decisions of the CEOs over the past 3 decades. They’ve put off investment in the future to grab as much cash as possible. Now they’ve applied it to government and the math doesn’t work.
