What’s worse, the people saying ska is dead when it’s not battle, or people calling any style of emo (or pop punk) Midwest emo when it’s not. In both cases, you’ll be called a gatekeeper when trying to clarify. I guess every genre has its plight

So as a creator, I rely heavily on Patreon to not only make art, but to survive
I put in a *ton* of time to uploading regularly to YouTube AS WELL AS making daily TikTok/insta content. It’s a lot of work that Patreon allows me to do!

Hate to be engaging in the music/politics crossover, however, after a not so good fall season in the legislature it’s surprising Ford didn’t hawk some half baked “I couldn’t get Taylor tickets” bill.

Absolutely bonkers that the people putting in the work (artists and independent promoters) are making $8 each in profit on a $100 ticket.
The system is broken and it will not get better without proper legislation.
