Once again, a Scottish newspaper takes a stand, refusing to follow the mainstream media mob in perpetuating the great fiction that is the Gaza “ceasefire”.

The @scotnational.bsky.social puts their peers to shame.

Yesterday the President fell asleep, yet again, during a televised fake Cabinet meeting staged so that each of his courtiers could heap praise on him, praise for which he couldn't stay conscious. He woke up just long enough to spew racism. Why is this not being treated as an emergency? >

Fun fact: Every other leader of the democratic free world would've arrested Putin on the spot. Instead, America's cowardly pedophile president fawned over, flattered, and celebrated the most murderous dictator of the 21st century — desecrating everything America stands for.

The billionaire CEO of the third richest company on the planet gives the President an actual block of gold so his company is exempted from US Government tariffs. And the whole thing is broadcast live on TV.

Anyone who can't see what is happening to this country is unsalvageable at this point.

He’s slapping us with massive taxes disguised as tariffs, all to gaslight his base into thinking foreign countries are footing the bill. Prices have gone up across the board—from gas to groceries. This economy is sliding downhill, and it’s only going to get worse.

This is not about “officer safety” or whatever, it’s just an expression of power. That some in the US can’t see it for what it is is genuinely frightening. The militarisation of policing has been building to this for decades, they just have impunity and no oversight now.
Damn‼️ Federal agents blew a door off for this?

Federal agents blasted their way into an LA home where Jenny Ramirez lives with her boyfriend and two kids.

She heard the blast while checking on her 6-year-old, with her 1-year-old in her arms.

Ramirez says everyone in the home is a U.S. citizen.

Shadi Hamid on the urgency of calling the Gaza crimes what they so patently are: a genocide.

I don’t like violating paywalls, but make no apology for doing so for this. It’s essential.
