went back to the gym for the first time in 6 months (i took flower farm season off,) and i didn't move backwards in strength at ALL 👀 endurance, yes, but i was able to match all my previous weights and even increase a couple. feels instantly motivating to know i didn't lose what i'd built

started reading this book after weeks of mental preparation (it focuses on one of my worst fears: pregnancy) and 'first trimester' are the first two words of the book and i immediately muttered an uncomfortable "ugh" under my breath

today was the kiddo's first parent/teacher conference and apparently when shown a picture of ray charles and a former president, the child raised her hand and informed her entire kindergarden class "we have a bad president now"
