Andrea Dworkin pointed out the irony of being told men are women's natural protectors, when they are the biggest danger. Whether women are put on a pedestal or a pyre, it's the same old patriarchy. Men & women are not different species, men are not naturally superior to women.

It's an error to think that all the institutions betraying us are doing so out of "fear". To many, this administration is emboldening, a convenient excuse to drop the pretenses and embody their true values.
They don't need the EOs to be enforceable or legal.

- women at the CIA who want to get together and celebrate women spies

Yes, more than my being trans. That's actually been kind of a non-issue, a lot of the time.
