Arrest avoidance is always the best policy. Build your plans around getting away first, then have contingencies if that doesn't work. Never trust an org that uses the intentional arrest strategy, they are fighting for funding, not collective victory.
Since it’s Friday… I’m not saying that you should be “afraid” of getting arrested. I’m saying that you should avoid arrest if possible. Things become much more difficult for you when you’re in police custody. This is solid movement advice thats been passed down from generations of rad lawyers. STFU!
When going out to protest, the goal shouldn’t be to get arrested. Do not run yourself into arrests. Do not just hand yourself over to the state.
