Note that that’s for a household, not an individual. But yes, the absolute figures are quite striking.

These are cash the government gives directly to households. The big ones are state pensions, universal credit, child benefit, and disability benefits. The below is the full list from this data source.

It's just absolute numbers in £ per year, reading left to right (original income, plus benefits, minus direct taxes, minus indirect taxes equals post-tax income). Happy to have suggestions on a better visualisation. I bet the absolute numbers are a surprise for many... at both ends of the spectrum.
