Presumably the government doesn’t yet feel like it wants to run the risk of appearing to ‘persecute’ is main political opponent.

Suspect instead there’ll be a long, slow and, ultimately, very damaging series of leaks into the media about Reform’s Russia connections as the next GE looms larger.

Someone who voted Leave and has since changed their mind is the best possible ally if there's ever an opportunity to rejoin.

Why? Because they've been on a journey Remainers never engaged on, so their testimony will ring truer to others who need persuading.

With that in mind, stop alienating them.

Question: How much of this “tax and spend” policy is accounted for purely by the triple lock alone? Britain’s economic realities are and, for many decades to come, will continue to be dominated by its rapidly ageing demographic profile.

Another way of looking at this, of course, is that if you took the triple lock out of the equation, the benefits bill would very likely roughly be increasing in line with projected inflation *if that*

You say that, but then again…

The Chancellor just froze tax on fossil fuels, and raised it on electric-powered vehicles...

This is the only question *every* journalist should be asking them.

I mean, Farage did once try to con everyone into believing he was “skint”

Why would Russia pay for Gill when Farage was so willing to do it for free?
