Aaaand all caught back up! An interesting experience - I'd forgotten or not watched a bunch of stuff - and I think I've basically landed on "release order before Endgame, chronological order after Endgame" because chronological only confuses the earlier movies but somewhat fixes the later ones

Yōtei isn't as emotionally swingy as Tsushima was - it's more of a consistent dramatic tone - but imo does a better job of letting you earn that 'unstoppable badass' feeling

Only minor reshuffling in the penultimate year now we're largely past the knock-on effects of the pandemic - it's felt very different to the pre-Endgame stuff where most of the moves felt immediately off; this has felt more like a needed readjustment

So from what I understand, they're struggling to write a new Bond because they want to take him being blown up last time into account for some reason? Sounds silly to me, but even so it feels like cinema has already provided the most elegant solution to that self-made problem:

The reshuffling makes this the year with the Most Stuff (by number of titles, not runtime) but it flows pretty well and makes sense; the worst you could say about it is that Groot finishes puberty pretty suddenly, but who cares honestly
