Their characters wrestle w/ both world destroying & possibly, in the future universe ending events as well as lesser personal struggles; like, how do you handle a baby who can turn invisible, the emotional mess everyone deals w/ as they learn what they need to save the world, the universe, together.

My nbaughter has created a lovely novel with a QUILTBAG cast of young adult & teen characters, and grounded in powers and spectacle which don’t magically solve all their problems, sometimes just enhance them.

My nbaughter was in tears when it happened cuz, they couldn't afford to buy yet ANOTHER pr of boots & neither could I. Today, cuz their old boots blew a hole in the sole, I'm repairing this pair in the hope they'll last until the partner gets their back-pay.

Bought this pair of boots for my nbaughter last yr, couple days later, the door to their apt building was broken by 1 of the residents w/out their keycard. Which, left a hidden, sharp broken bit of metal on the bottom of the door. It Brushed nbaughter's boot when they opened door & cut it open 🤨😟
