Tim Davis was previously hired by some school boards without a public vote, including Grapevine-Colleyville and Keller.

I've been told the State Board of Education didn't vote on his hiring either.

The district has paid hundreds of thousands for Davis’ services over the past three years during a time of financial challenges.

Scooplet: the Texas State Board of Education signed an emergency contract to hire Tim Davis, former general counsel of the Tarrant County GOP and now candidate for chairman. I previously reported that four local school boards taken over by well-financed right wing candidates also hired Davis.

NEW FROM ME: Texas school boards are increasingly turning to ChatGPT & other AI programs to comply with SB 13, a new state law that requires them to vet school library purchase lists for "indecent" or "profane" content.

Whoa! Immigrants come here with nothing and the next thing you know they’re buying houses that established citizens cannot afford? Those enterprising newcomers sound like just the sort of folks we need. Never mind that JD’s premise is as BS as his 30M number.
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."
