I've not developed every planet, so some societies are loosely classed, but for Zeron I have defined ranks within groups based on things like prowess in battle for one group, royal favor in another, or in a third (sometimes the same group) shallow factors like "purity"/beauty standards.

My body is acting like it had a panic episode, and this is probably one of the (not)best things about PTSD: I don't remember having an episode. At best, my stress levels were SLIGHTLY elevated in traffic this afternoon. But now it is 4 hours later, I'm doing nothing, and my chest feels weird af. 🙃

I spent an excessive number of years moderating a gaming forum and I learned a great deal about community spaces and cultivation, whether I wanted to or not. I have critical advice for anyone who runs a game store or gaming convention. Please share this thread with people who run those things.

iPhone users, here’s a bit of imitative AI you should turn off with iOS 26.
Open Settings > Apps > Photos > scroll all the way to the bottom and toggle “Control for Creating Spatial Photos“ off.
This will hide the button that uses AI to apply a 3D parallax effect to photos not made that way.
