Ugh, I think it may be time to find a new hair stylist and I feel bad bc I love my current girl but I’ve been disappointed after the past few appointments. Did my biannual color appt Thursday and just finished with a toning touch up bc she did highlights that were distinctly Kelly Clarkson chunky

Arcadia was my favorite thing I read in college and has seriously shaped my worldview/philosophy in the years since. I reread it (listen on audiobook these days bc it IS a play) every once in a while and the chaos theory bit is what I return to every time
I hope someone draws this wonderful story about Tom Stoppard's Arcadia and the power of the arts to help us see things differently, to the attention of our Education Secretary. Do read it, it will lift your spirits.

It is really wild how trauma fucks with your nervous system. Saw/recorded not one, but two separate possible immigration related police stops this afternoon. I’m always good in a crisis and it was the same today. Now that I’m home 2 hours later processing it my body is all fucked up lmao.
