Okay upon thinking about it more, the knee-jerk reaction of calling it "censorship" was a bad assessment by me. What is actually happening with itchio and steam is deplatforming.

Visa is easy but you have to trick the phone tree with Mastercard
1. select option that you have a card
2. select option to for account info
3. press a few random buttons when asked to give ur card, wait until it transfers you to an agent
4. Request to file a complaint abt discriminatory practices

I got through to Mastercard and the supervisor I spoke to said they're actually aware of this, they've received multiple calls and it's been escalated to their global HQ and they're awaiting a response. KEEP CALLING!!

Good, somebody posted the clip so you don't have to watch the video on youtube. I love how this is textbook "don't blame corporations for the damage they do, blame yourself" pro-corporate whataboutism.
I clipped this part to highlight how fucking stupid and condescending this entire thing is. Chiding us for not hating cars enough, labelling artists and people who hate AI as being incapable of imagining a world beyond the current Paradigm, is idiotic.

I’m seeing a lot of negative reviews on games along the lines of “this isn’t exactly what I wanted, even though it was exactly what was promised”.
I can’t overstate how much more joy you will have if you allow art to unfurl in front of you, instead of demanding it be what you imagine you want.
