I'm a photographer with a camera glued to my hands and a serious case of wanderlust. And, yes, See really is my last name. You can blame my step-grandfather. 😄

🤨You have got to be kidding me! I’m a lover of art history but why oh why does society need to know his DNA??? Who gives a rat’s ass!

“As first reported by Science on Tuesday, researchers at the Leonardo da Vinci DNA Project, housed at the J. Craig Venter Institute in Rockville, Md., …”
Counterpoint: There is no “race” to find Leonardo’s DNA. Why would there be? To build an army of super Leonardo da Vincis? And anyway “a chalk drawing attributed by some to Leonardo” is probably not the best way to find it.

I shot this photo at Traders Point Creamery, in Zionsville, Indiana. I had gone out there to check out a holiday crafts fair, and as I was leaving, I saw these bare branches dripping with water, providing a great contrast to the barn behind it.

Alvarado Train Station. Albuquerque, New Mexico USA

It’s a winter rainy gloomy day, but I’m ok because we need the moisture.

I took this photo in 2005 (yikes, 20 yrs ago!) as I was waiting for the train to take me to Los Angeles.

Atlanta cornfield - Indiana, US

Deep into a frigid winter, I was out in rural IN wondering if my camera was going to go the way of the Tauntaun, in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. 😆

I send warmth and love to all, and may we find inner peace in the new year. 💗

“This institutional capitulation to the market forces driving the techno gilded age is disappointing in the least, dangerous at worst. We’re left only to surmise that good art is a liability in a world driven by capitalism.

I lived in Colorado for almost 15 yrs, and one of the most beautiful areas is Rocky Mountain National Park. There’s just something about being above timberline that’s refreshing and calming.

He was one of the best from the days when the US media was willing to show the truth of war. Now, we see & read hardly anything.
