Let me tell you, as a parent, there's no better sport than sailing for your kids. Independence, responsibility, and learning to care for your stuff are drilled into them.

And, you get to hang at yacht clubs eating good food and having nice drinks rather than sitting around dusty fields all weekend.

He's 8 yrs old, 4'9" and 95 lbs now... dude's a tank.

She achieved this ranking while racing with an abdominal tear that went from bikini line to the sternum. Now, 6-weeks post abdominal reconstruction, she's back in the hunt.

She was opened up from kidney to kidney across the front along the bikini line. Been limited to lifting no more than 5 lbs for the past 7 weeks. She can start working out again next week.

This would have been good to know BEFORE I spent dozens of days surfing in red tides from the time I was 8yrs old until I was in my 20s.

There were 1-2 red tide events per year in San Diego during that time each lasting a week or two.
