I think not getting the true neutral ending in SMTVV on a first playthrough is extremely valuable because it allows you to go back in and experience the game again and still discover new things, also it doesn't require you to beat an Atlus superboss, which is pretty nice

Fun fact: this lad was designed by Soraya Saga, Xenogears and Xenosaga co-creator and wife of Tetsuya Takahashi. And he's the only collaboration between the two of them on a Xeno project for the last two decades. So he's more significant than he seems!

At the VERY LEAST Metroid Prime 4 had a safety net of having a clear development time and being slightly easier to achieve due to it already having groundwork in the original Prime trilogy.
