This radicalized me

Removing the swastika and confederate flag from a list of hate symbols isn't some small action, it's not trolling or "owning the libs" or anything like that, it's a clear declaration of purpose and intent.

They are Nazis, they are racists, and they want another Holocaust and the return of slavery.

As a Jew descended from Holocaust survivors, what was passed down to *me* is the knowledge that there are still people out there who want us to be exterminated, and that we always need to understand that it's possible for it to happen again. And make no mistake, these people want it to happen again.

Like a lot of people in the movement don’t really think through how women of color are uniquely vulnerable to harassment and exploitation *because* of white supremacy

Anyway tl;dr: the concerted European effort to paint Americans as uniquely uneducated about our own history is not only a self-report, but also an effort to keep information about the British Empire's continued brutality from spreading through an English-language source outside the Empire's control
