I think of all the ORS students I taught & wonder how any of them qualified. I don't think they would now.

When ORS first started i was teaching 1 ID & speech delayed student in my mainstream class. No behaviour, mobility or eating problems at school. They were accepted to ORS & given a lot of TA hours.
We really really need the ORS to be expanded.

It explains why so little has been done about cyber stalking leading to RL crime. A) they don't think it can be tracked. B) they have normalised violence & non consent in relationships.

Many of those issues are part of fixing poverty & inequality. To fix P & I requires fixing pay equity, affordable housing, affordable transport, access to health, cost of living, access to education, & srong economy.

There is one fewer electorate seats in the Wellington region, thanks to Nicola Willis.
The other non-Green MP electorates except Kāpiti have a current Labour MP contesting them.
Craig has only 2 options to stand as a new Labour candidate in the Capital, and both are currently Green electorates.

The antis i know listen to misinformation. They think puberty blockers are handed out at the first GPs visit & usage is widespread. The fear mongering PR has been effective. These people would like abortion law & civil unions laws repealed. I have been discussing this for at least 15 years with them

I wonder if this explains why I thought my friends were giving their kids a substandard homeschool education. Maybe they wanted them to learn the stuff in the 2025 draft curriculum & not the world leading curriculum i know how to teach. They want parrots not thinkers

People thought that about Christchurch in the 90s. Now look at it. Growing & thriving. Blenheim was very dull in the 80s & 90s. Then it took off again.
Wellington looked dead before all the development along the waterfront. Then it had an exciting period before it stagnated again.
Never give up.

I hope this decision can be overturned. The negative impact on a small vulnerable population is appaling.
