Part of the reason is that so many Americans just don’t “feel it“. They’re not in enough pain. If you look at some of the headlines over the last few days even, what are you saying? The story about the Indiana Hoosiers winning the CFP. They think politics is just silly.

The two Venezuelan born men who work with my husband both voted for Trump because “He seems like he could be good for business.” His company is based out of and heavily depends on raw materials from Europe and Canada. 🫣 They still seem to barely register the heap of shit we are all in.

He is correct. In Europe the consensus is that USA is already in the final stage to implement a full fascist regime. The mid terms will be the final checkpoint. And it doesn't look like there will be fair elections, if any..

I just took a ride with Uber, and my driver is from Venezuela. He spent the whole trip expressing concern that the same shift from democracy to dictatorship he saw in Venezuela is happening right now in the United States. He’s absolutely incredulous that Americans are allowing it to happen.

Good morning to readers; Kyiv remains in Ukrainian hands.

One sixth of Kyiv residents have fled the capital due to extreme power blackouts during the harshest winter in years.

Our Myroslava and Nastia are among those who made the decision to leave their dark cold apartments.
Why Myroslava, Nastia left Kyiv
Russia’s attacks on the energy sector have left Kyiv without electricity, heat and water. Myroslava and Nastia have left for now, and open up about the brutal conditions forcing this painful decision.

Greenland PM asks residents to prepare for a possible invasion, says ‘can’t be ruled out’
Greenland Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen said the residents need to start preparing for a possible military invasion, though it remains an unlikely scenario, but not an impossible one. “It’s not likely there will be a military conflict, but it can’t be ruled out," the prime minister said. "That's why we must be ready for all possibilities, but let's emphasise this: Greenland is part of NATO and, if there were to be an escalation, it would also have consequences for the rest of the world," Nielsen added. The government will guide the people through the preparation process, will form a task force, and will distribute new guidelines, including a recommendation to have enough food for five days stored in their homes.
