The point is everyone else, i.e. the majority of voters, don't want you in power, and want their party to work with all the others to keep you out of power.

The UN General Assembly has adopted a resolution calling on Russia to return all Ukrainian children unlawfully taken during the war. The vote was 91 in favor, 12 against, and 57 abstentions. Countries voting against include Russia, Belarus, Iran, Cuba. Among abstainers were China, India and Brazil.
