I try to avoid echo chambers and take into account govenance means governing over the stupid or ideologically right wing.
So I tried for years to find the hidden gems of the "nominally left" as they pander to Farage.
This is the nail in the coffin he should just fuck off to the Blair Institute now.
I swear people would watch Schindler's List and the end devestated by the balance of how money could have saved more go "Good point to the wall"
Insane how hollow the "Rehabiltative justice" or deprived areas higher crime stats counter of "Environmental Causes of Violence and behaviour" falls down

Perfect analysis of Rory's biases as he tells THE expert with THE strongest trading track record that maybe his "class anger" (evidenced by his accent and background rather than substance) is "confusing" him.

I've been Labour my whole adult life, but I can't disagree with this.

Reform are indistinguishable from the National Front in 1995. And Labour are indistinguishable from Tories in 1995.

That's not a progressive option. That's the other thing. It's complicity when we need radicalism. It's failure.
"Polanski is adamant that Labour no longer deserves to be thought of as progressive.

"The Labour Party is so dead and gone in terms of being a progressive force. You don’t need to be in the Labour Party: @greenparty.org.uk time is now.”

Labour vs the left
While Keir Starmer focuses on the threat of Reform and the populist right, is his real problem a resurgent progressive politics?

I may have gone a bit too hard at James O'Brien.
But the constant begging the question of @lbc.co.uk is getting so tedious.
They're still doing Kamala campaign style "Who are these right wing figures beneath our coverage" style thing with a side of "Oh the lefts taking it too far again"

Ironic he would say this proving how much he sucks
I think he means Brexit was worth it even though it made OTHER people poorer. Twat.

Govts manage inflation by hiking interest rates,

Forces people to hand money to banks, boosts profits, enriches shareholders & execs. Huge wealth transfer.

Millions can't pay bills and cut spending. Economy stutters.

Why punish low/middle earners? Tax the rich to remove surplus cash.
How successive government have created a new rentier economy
Governments appease corporations and the super-rich by following the old policies which benefit a few.

I hope Charlie Kirk recovers quickly then, like James Brady, uses his megaphone to help advocate for common sense limits on firearms.

Let’s make one thing clear from the start: Charlie Kirk was the victim of a shooting in a country where he, along with other right-wing extremist influencers, have been inciting violence for years. — Kirk is neither a martyr nor a hero, he is a cause.

The body of evidence showing that when centrist parties adopt the priorities and talking points of the far right, they torpedo themselves is vast and powerful. Yet Keir Starmer's Labour Party seems determined to ignore it.

How should Labour and the Tories respond to the populist right? Lessons from Europe
The evidence suggests traditional parties that ape the populist radical right’s policies risk boosting their rivals instead of reclaiming voters.
