The toppling of Colston

Jake Skuse, Rhian Graham, Milo Ponsford, and Sage Willoughby were found innocent by their Bristolian peers in the jury after the local Labour MP and Labour council did nothing for years and years and years, decades really.

Up to 2019 this was a Tory stronghold.
In 2024 they tried Labour and now they are Green.

The Greens could win the next UK GE
Up to a while ago, the Greens winning a GE would have been crazy but now...well, it is very possible.

It October the Greens were on 12.7% here

Being racist bastards is what Labour are like

In 2007, 98 lawyers and barristers wrote to The Guardian to demand that Margaret Hodge "resign or be sacked" after her "indigenous britons" comments suggested council house waiting lists were the fault of foreigners.

I'm English and learnt about the SM before it existed.

Then I traded with the EU until the exceptionalists trashed everything and continue to trash everything

This UK trade 'expert' didn't even have CBAM in his list pre UK GE

Meanwhile, Brexit exceptionalists continue to trash us businesses.

The Kremlin show their card
I'm not sure the UK (England really) is able to fend off the far right / Kremlin threat.
There are too many confused English.

In 1945 the British made sure Germanys public broadcasting system would never be taken over by an authoritarian leader.

You are a Communist so don't understand why that act was important.

The Polish understand.
That is why Solidarnosc is outside the European parliament.

These manufactured concerns about immigration and the resulting nonsense over FoM from some, less professional outfits and dodgy political parties reminds me of this.

There are a load more like this regarding Scottish seats.

Nobody using a Ukrainian flag in their banner should be supporting Labour who are preventing Ukrainian refugees from applying for citizenship.

Scotland needs a hard border for WTO rules and to protect standards.

I watched Ireland and Northern Ireland solve the land border with Brexit barriers in real time.

Overnight (in reality it was slower but appeared to be overnight) the registration plates of lorries changed from UK to Irish.

This reminded me in Bristol we had a couple of 'quest' systems.

LETS
Bristol pound

I still have some Bristol pounds. 🔽

Issues we found where:
Limited services available.
Interaction with the Sterling economy didn't work.

Maybe the limited size / takeup was the issue. 🤔

I saw this article and wondered why an American was pictured.

Then I read the article and it turns out to be a picture of Steve Reed MP, the Secretary of State for Housing. 🙄

Unbelievable!
This Labour government have totally lost the plot.

Nobody in 2014 wanted to remove rights from our neighbours.

The vote was to gain rights

The Brexit vote was to remove rights from our neighbours.
Labour reinforced this by ruling out FoM / protection for our neighbours.

Thus, more deportations, while europe watches.

Both you and this government appear to be falling a bit short of what you said would be delivered before the GE. 🤔

The 🇬🇧 NHS is so large that it kept 🇺🇸 drug prices low due to the quantity bought.

Now the 🇬🇧 is weaker it is forced into a bad agreement with the 🇺🇸 that has wanted to raise drug prices to the 🇬🇧 for decades.

Hello @gillianmacmsp.bsky.social

This is for Glasgow Kelvin and Maryhill from Nowcast here:
www.nowcast.uk/holyrood/map

@scottishgreens.org are within 1.4% of taking the Holyrood seat for the Greens at 1st preference from the SNP.

This is very good @carladenyer.bsky.social and it is updated.

It is from one of your members, joshhousden.bsky.social who runs bsky.app/profile/nowc...

Looking at the Bristol NW ward data I think you can take the seat.

There is a full ward map here:

It isn't just Labour people.
I've come across a few LibDems who are very anti migrant.

Qualifications
Touring artists
Youth mobility / Eurasmus
PEM
Erasmus
Gibraltar

This is what you have delivered

This article explains the situation.

They are stuck with attempting to get extreme 2024 Tories to vote for them (who still think they are One Nation Tories) while ignoring the big wins covering food standards / farming sector / small businesses and Labour voters.

Set out a pathway with rough dates and tell a story of where you want Scotland to be in ten years.

With annacavazzini.bsky.social as chair of the EU single market and terryreintke.bsky.social as Co-President of @greens-efa.eu the @scottishgreens.org are the best connected Scottish political party.
