I don’t have a lot of play by contemporary playwrights on my bookshelf, but I have several by Stoppard which I love. He also wrote screenplays of some of my favourite movies.

my 2 cents on the jyvk discourse: White supremacy is a global, transnational, imperial phenomenon. Non usa-americans should understand this especially, yet ya'll are the ones going "that's only racist in america" when you know damn well that's a lie. One of the weakest arguments you could make lol

People really will look at a character who's entire arc is maintaining humanity, love, and empathy through the worst trials and tribulations, and think 'he'd become cold, mean, and closed off when experiencing trials and tribulations'.
