Every time I see dnd AU that makes Jayce a fighter or paladin, I lose my mind a little. This man is a wizard. Or a warlock. Artificer. Hell a bard considering how good he is as an orator. Maybe he specs into a martial subclass so he can use the hammer badly, but my god. Give my man the right class.

worldbuilding for that jayvik memory loss au. the world they end up in is a in-between place where a lot of magic touchers get trapped in, either on purpose or accident. So odd landscapes, alien flora/fauna, mismatched and spread out sentient people that make the herald a less than unusual sight.

I wish I could enjoy aus where jayvik has babies but I know in my heart of hearts neither of these men would be good parents to anyone under the age of like... 8, if not Jayce then especially Viktor, my guy who would be a weekend dad at best given his workaholic rating is breaking all charts.

hold up it would be interesting if an arcane herald Viktor started using those glowey tendrils of his to interact with the world. Like they have nerve endings and a capacity to understand taste/smell unlike the rest of him, where his ability to feel is muted at best.

It'd be interesting if it this speculative Stillwater au I keep yapping about, if Viktor had replaced either one or both legs and his spine (and some other bits) with arcane-infused metal, and its slowly been eating at healthy tissue, replacing with the same kind of material as the herald in canon.
