i was scrolling reddit for guinea pigs and i almost saw the video of today's minnesota incident. it went to auto play, i was able to scroll away before i got traumatized...
this has to end, i don't live in the usa but i'm so sick of having to fear for my friends that do :'(

Cygames EN posted a statement on the formation of the Cygames AI Studio and it really feels empty-handed. They claim they will notify players when they do eventually use GenAI in their products but do not mention if they will use it at a conceptual level. The easiest solution is DON’T USE IT AT ALL!

I say this with utmost respect, but Taylor is an absolute tool for saying this privately or publicly.
I can say on good authority that it takes 7 to 10 years to develop game development skills to “good enough” to produce commercial game content. 7-10 years plus the cost of a university education.
