well something to consider if you ever find youself at a loose end on a saturday morning.

Not quite as common in the States, but look how many i have to choose from. I came first once at ruchill (when noone fast turned up) and it was the crowning achievement of my athletic career

Even by the Herald's low, low editorial standards this is utter crap. It's not a 'freedom of speech fight' - politicians aren't allowed to personally attack council officers/civil servants cause council officers/civil servants are barred from publicly defending themselves. I mean, ffs

Very good. Though not quite as good as The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue was (but what is). Contains a surprising number of lesbian vampires. Bonus points for one being Scottish. Review ends

absolutely stunning bit of AI slop by The Herald. So bad it would get you laughed off facebook

Not sure most people realise how much affordable housing Glasgow actually builds compared to the other big UK cities

Saw in the ScotGov crime stats published today that it's close to twice as likely that you'll be killed by a dangerous driver than murdered

Scottish Legal building on Bothwell St to be converted into a fancy hotel. Glasgow having another city centre 5* hotel will be cool. And great to see a productive use found for the building as it doesn't seem like anyone was interested in it as offices anymore.

I really like them! I like seeing them up on a hilltop, framed against the sky, elegantly swooshing away and producing all that beautiful clean energy

Like this - stick a sneaky "fury" into the website headline that isn't there when you click through the article and get the real, more measured, headline

This photo of the junction bustling with life is one of the more infuriating pre-motorway pictures

It's meant to be designed so someone can build an office or something on top of it later

This old planning app to build shops and stuff on the car park to the east of Queen St station seems to have been approved this week. It was submitted all the way back in May 2021 so dunno why it would suddenly jump back into life now. Hopefully Transport Scotland still plan to do it

Listed building consent has been granted for plans to convert the derelict old High School on Holland St/Elmbank St to a fancy hotel. It's the Scotsman Group, I think.

GCC approved a planning application today to put a flue up the back of this Sauchiehall building so it can be used as a restaurant. But the building has a For Sale above the door now so dunno if plans have changed since the app was submitted in the summer or if it was always just to encourage buyers
