Last month I presented Gigi to the Graphics Programming Conference in Breda, talking about the history and motivation of Gigi, as well as implementation details.

My talk, and the rest, are now available on youtube.

The conference was amazing.

A quick way to get started experimenting with @shader-slang.bsky.social is through the rapid graphics development platform Gigi which lets you do GPU programming without c++. Just a node graph and shaders, and view the results in the viewer in real time with hot reloading.

I found some time to test Gigi by EA SEED. It's in an early stage, but it definitely has a lot of potential, so I'm looking forward to next releases! @demofox.bsky.social is really helpful on the Gigi Discord.
I did a simple shell texturing, as to do Compute+Mesh the tool needs more features :)

I've lately been thinking on doing a small intro workshop on graphics programming using gigi. This has been such a fun tool to use. It's like the next step to shadertoy. Thanks so much for creating it @demofox.bsky.social !
