The UK and Norway have signed a major new defence agreement to protect the North Atlantic from Russia.

Called the Lunna House Agreement, it will see a combined fleet of at least 13 warships, assisted by autonomous systems, hunt down Russian submarines to protect critical undersea infrastructure.

Reform accepted £9 million from a former Boris Johnson backer & crypto-multimillionaire.

Today, Nigel Farage postures as a righteous defender of the same democracy he actively undermines.

Democracy should never be for sale. It's time for a cap on political donations.

the real scoop may be why Farage's behaviour was protected, why he was made a prefect despite clearly racist, disruptive and abusive behaviour — and documented concerns from the teaching staff

(shouldn't be the biggest issue in British politics, I know, but might also be)
I suspect you have to be quite racist to stand out as "the racist guy" at a boys public school of the 1980s.

A huge reminder that Irish neutrality does not protect it from hybrid attacks.

This chart is about tactical voting, but looking at it from the perspective of ‘would it be easier for labour to get voters back from Reform, or from literally anyone else’ is quite revealing

The only problem with blaming the “botched Brexit deal” for the small boats crisis, is it plays into the smirking dimwit’s hands. Reform just say, “Yes. Let’s do Brexit properly. Slam the door on the ECHR. Burn everything down.” We should close that down. Brexit - no qualification - is a shitshow.

The fact that four hostile drones tried to hit Zelenskyy’s plane & it’s barely a blip in the news cycle should terrify everyone. We’ve been dragged so deep into the chaos era that an attempted strike on a world leader doesn’t even break through. When this becomes normal, the world is in real danger.

The super-rich rightwing are pouring money into Reform. Do ordinary voters really think their aim is to even out social inequality and make their lives better? Do they think they’re doing it so Farage invests in infrastructure and public services? Ffs. Democracy being beaten to death in plain sight.
