I watched The 4-D Man for the first time since I was a kid. Who knew it was in color?!?! Not our family black & white TV! Who knew it had such a wild jazzy score? Not my little jazz-less self. Who knew James Congdon was so adorable? Not my little innocent self. Oh and the FX were quite good!

On the other hand, apparently song endings, key transition cards and entire famous scenes about Halloween are not suitable for airplane viewing. 😳 Maybe they’re preparing this for the Sphere. 🤷🏼♂️

I saw the revisal of Damn Yankees this afternoon at the Arena theater in DC. I then pushed tonight’s travel plans to NYC to tomorrow so I could stay and see the evening performance. It was that good.

Been on a nice run of moviegoing. The silent The Enemy Sex is a delightful comedy with Betty Compson. The Sound of Music is just a great watch (thanks AMC) and The Baltimorons is a charming, lovely new indie. But it was seeing Atonement again that slayed me. What a masterful, flawless movie!

In all seriousness, I'd love to see a reporter try to get comments from all of these people about their initial impulse to declare a literal war on half of their fellow citizens and to see if any of them regret it, apologized for it or learned anything at all from it.
like this is the most irresponsible level of hysteria i’ve ever seen. most of these people are either paid by the republican party, or are high level advisors and allies. this is insane
