Of course the House will remain on vacation - there is absolutely no reason to work out a compromise. Mr. Speaker, my guess is you are toast in 10 months or less.
Senate Democrats are played a dangerous game, last minute votes to advance the funding bills. The House is not in session and will not return until next week. The looming government shutdown will be due to Senate Democrats, the House will remain on vacation and will not play these foolish games.

WTF happened to the Epstein files? Full release was required December 19 by federal law. Today, 99% are still undisclosed. Initially, there were rolling releases. Now, nothing in weeks.

Looks as if Trump is saying no Democrat will be allowed to win another national election—and he will use the FBI, the DOJ, and the CIA to make sure of that. This is a full-scale attack on American democracy, and every Republican, CEO, and conservative mouthpiece who doesn't object is complicit.
