Hmmmmm.....

Dark Matter folks .... thoughts on this?!

The paper says the DM annihilation idea remains 'feasible', but I have also seen quotes in general audience articles saying something like: this signal closely matches the expected DM properties (which seems more firm to me) ....

Any idea why this Common Gallinule kept putting its head down sideways toward on the duckweed-covered water? I don't know much about their behavior in general-- could it be looking into the water below? It did it multiple times while I watched.

Don't get me wrong, I really do appreciate the affordability and that the cost hasn't inflated, but I wish Aldi didn't make you buy a 25¢ cart every single time, I am running out of garage and bakyard space

They’re currently dealing out cards against humanity. This should be loud and hilarious.
Yall think good thoughts for me. We’re about to have at least a dozen teens in the house. Not sure if you’re aware, but teens are loud.

Ohhhh. The pomegranate leaves turn a lovely shade of golden yellow for the fall. This is their first winter at my house anyway. Hoping they come back. 🌱

Noticing a proliferation of history YouTube channels that are 100% AI complete with historical hallucinations. What could go wrong with misinforming folks about history?

WHHOOOOOAAAAAA!

Both the visual (the advancing grey pyroclastic cloud contrast against the rich green) and the audio (falling rocks, rumbles) is .... incredible.

Hope folks in this region are safe ....
Thev sound in this video is fascinating. You can hear what I think is background rain and pumice fall. But the roaring... Is that from the eruption or from the PDC? In contrast to that PDC video from the Kraffts where the the current is silent.

lol. The new element for my oven that went out last week just arrived. $37 and 30 minutes( hopefully) instead of a new oven.
I’m losing my patience for doing small house repairs but my desire to not pay someone else to do them is as strong as ever. Had to take the entire fucking sink out just to pull the old faucet out. Don’t won’t to admit how much time I have in it just to have running water again.
