It's not a big thing, but it implies not every injury can be fully healed.

I have a friend who said, of Starfleet Academy, that this took them out of it - that seeing a person in a wheelchair in the 32nd century seemed unrealistic, since medicine in Star Trek "should be able to cure whatever was wrong with them."

Trying to get back into drawing after an over 20-year hiatus except for a doodle here and there by trying to draw or sketch at least one thing (whatever, including figure studies eventually) per day.
